What will you be doing?

We have now accomplished the launch of our latest product, but that doesn’t mean we are finished. The next step in our vision is to roll out new features and enhancements and ensure the platform evolves to a best-in-class superannuation and investments administration system built on modern cloud-based technology.

You will work within a team of engineers and business analysts, be involved in an array of exciting projects working across all aspects of the Recreo platform including the configuration of end-user environments, engineering of core services, and the development of business-critical functions.

Some of your key accountabilities:

• Work collaboratively with team members and other internal teams

• Writing clear, succinct, maintainable, testable, secure and working code to agreed standards and guidelines
• Analyse and deconstruct complex problems spaces in order to implement software solutions that are simple, maintainable and functional
• Identify and clearly document code designs

What are we looking for?

The soft skills you bring will allow you to quickly and easily articulate an idea or problem which in turn leads to the best solution being implemented. The key technical skills and experience we are looking for are :

Essential skills and experience

• BA/BS degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field, or equivalent practical experience.

• Minimum 4 years’ experience in C#/.NET framework and MS SQL database

• Front-end JavaScript frameworks such as Vue and Angular
• Integration services using REST API architecture
• Version control tools such as Git and Azure DevOps
• Exposure to cloud infrastructure such as Azure or AWS
• Exposure to Agile scrum methodology

Desirable skills and experience

• Developing consumer-centric and enterprise grade financial software, e.g. Superannuation, Banking, Insurance

• Exposure to various Amazon Web Services solutions like API Gateway, SNS, SQS, S3, QuickSight, CloudFormation templates
