Role

Working Closely With And Assisting The Financial Controller With All Day-to-day Financials Of The Business Including Maintaining Financial Records, Your Purpose Will Be To Assist With Annual And Monthly Financial Tasks Including

• Budgeting, forecasts and cashflow
• Preparation of financial reports and annual accounts
• Assist with routine finance tasks, AP, AR, Reconciliations
• Assist Financial Controller with team management
• Analyse and manage financial reports ensuring accurate data
• Assist Financial Controller with new financial systems & process improvement
• Liaise with Heads of Departments and Senior Management accordingly

Alongside the day-to-day duties, you will also be involved with moving this businesses accounting software from MYOB to Xero. This role will offer you the opportunity to be assisting with this exciting project.

Ideally you need to show more than just an interest in the numbers, you need to have good business acumen and the desire to learn on the job. This could be a sideways or even a step up for you. Yes, relevant experience is required to deliver the work, but so is a positive attitude – this is key. Providing team members support and encouraging mutual respect, you will actively contribute to team decisions and meetings and be able to build great relationships internally and externally with suppliers, be self-motivated and inquisitive.
