We are seeking a skilled and experienced Program Analyst to join our team and assist the Program Manager in managing the financial and contractual elements of large-scale government programs. As a Program Analyst you will identify goals and objectives, monitor performance, and develop strategies for improving outcomes of large-scale government programs. This position includes up to 25% travel in and around the Maryland, Virginia, and DC area.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., business administration) or applicable work experience.
Five years of experience as a Program or Management Analyst, preferably in the government sector.
Relevant certification (e.g., Professional in Business Analysis (PMI-PBA), Capacity Maturity Model Integration (CMMI)).
Secret security clearance.
Strong understanding of government contracting regulations and processes.
Superior communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
Assist the Program Manager in planning, organizing, and executing large-scale government programs.
Assist with the development of budgets and schedules and track metrics.
Perform analysis of budgets and schedules needed to meet contractual/project requirements for assigned programs.
Assess and advise on potential issues related to costs, schedules, and performance.
Analyze and make recommendations to optimize programs, policies, procedures, and systems.
Monitor program progress and performance and identify and mitigate risks and issues.
Ensure compliance with government contracting regulations and processes.
As a Program Analyst, you will play a critical role in the successful delivery of large-scale government programs. Your expertise in program analysis and your ability to improve program outcomes will contribute to the achievement of program objectives. You will work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, interacting with various stakeholders to deliver high-quality results.
