Primary tasks:
Dispatch trucks.
Fill out carrier packets when needed.
Update IFTA file.
Record drivers days and hours of work daily.
Fill out any docs as necessary.
Buy state permits for new trucks.
Contact insurance to get certificate of insurance to provide it to brokers.
Contact brokers to obtain Com check or EFS access codes to pay for driver lumper fee at receiving.
Resolve any delivery, pick up and in transit discrepancy (rescheduling if needed).
Report mechanical issues to fleet manager immediately if reported by drivers.
Submit expenses receipts to a tax portal, it’s super easy but you’ll need to download the app.
