  Our Client is a Japanese Listed company, specializing in factory automation. Presently, they are hiring for a Sales Engineer to join their team!

  【 What you will be doing 】
  – Attend product and application training
  – Develop a thorough understanding of own products and applications through classes, seminars, and on-the-job training.
  – Provide technical consultation and service to customers to help solve their applications using own products in a variety of industries, selecting and promoting the proper company products/services for their application.
  – Respond promptly and efficiently to customer requests.
  – Secure new customers consistently and efficiently.
  – Travel to customer locations three days per week and successfully sell products/services into a wide variety of manufacturing & related industries.
  – Successfully implement new product launch strategies.
  – Deliver growth in market share within assigned sales territory.
  – Coordinate off-site seminars and trade shows as needed.
  – Other duties or projects, as assigned

• Requirement

  【 What they are looking for 】
  – Minimum Degree, preferably in the engineering field. (Candidates with a business-related degree would also be considered)
  – At least 1 year experience in similar job scope
  – Inexperienced candidates are welcome to apply!
  – Willingness to travel 60% of the time, including the possibility of overnight travel.
  – Possess valid class 3 driving license is highly preferred!

【What you will be working on】
– Responsible for the entire sales cycle including meeting customers, submit quotations, process sales orders & delivering follow-ups.
– Provide technical solutions to customers.
– Prospect new accounts, identifying opportunities and developments, as well as maintaining existing accounts.

【 What you will be doing 】
– Collaborate with respective principles to promote representing brands to new and existing customers.
– Ensure the sales target for each representing brand is achieved.
– Sourcing, making proposals and responding to RFQ to win profitable new businesses.
– Expand the current customer business base to achieve sales targets.
– Consolidate and review customer monthly forecasts.
– Develop a business plan/recovery plan to ensure sales target is achieved.

Reporting to Head of Sales

【What you will be working on】
– Develop the sales across the APAC area (Singapore, Indonesia, Vietnam, Philippines) as per the agreed target.
– Assist the distributors during customer visits to conduct design.
– Visit regularly direct customers to maximize opportunities.
– Generate NBO (New business Opportunities).
– Survey and analyze each market, adapt the marketing strategy accordingly with the supervision of the head of sales.
– Support the Sales team whenever they have inquiries related to products.
– Maintain a strong level of relationships with export distributors & direct accounts.
