Job Description:

At Regions, the Commercial Credit Products Quality Assurance and Improvement Analyst leads the transaction testing program for loans underwritten by Commercial Credit Products to ensure quality and consistency of approval documentation prior to approval submissions.

Primary Responsibilities

• Identifies loan approvals in process eligible for secondary review with $10MM – $20MM of credit exposure and conducts end to end transaction testing, including spreading accuracy, risk rating accuracy, all aspects of the approval narrative, and data quality/accuracy

• Documents all transaction test results in a detailed line sheet and summarizes issues identified during the transaction test in each testing point category

• Detects thematic issues and identifies opportunities for system improvements and/or additional training

• Partners with Process and Performance team when opportunities are identified for supplementary training or process improvement for the group

• Provides formal reporting on findings and trends to Regional Team Managers and CPM District Leaders on a monthly/quarterly basis

• Collaborates with CPM District Leaders when coaching opportunities are identified specific to a single team or individual

This position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is not eligible for overtime pay.

This position is incentive eligible.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, or Finance

• Seven (7) years of commercial credit analysis experience

Skills and Competencies

• Ability to effectively communicate with various levels of business leaders

• Ability to research, analyze data, and derive facts

• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

• Advanced verbal and written communication skills

Compensation Details

Pay ranges are job specific and are provided as a point-of-market reference for compensation decisions. Other factors which directly impact pay for individual associates include: experience, skills, knowledge, contribution, job location and, most importantly, performance in the job role. As these factors vary by individuals, pay will also vary among individual associates within the same job.

The target information listed below is based on the national range and level of the position.

$122,210.00 USD

Incentive Pay Plans:

This role is eligible to participate in a discretionary incentive plan. Employees have the potential to receive a discretionary award based on performance against defined metrics and goals.
