We are looking for an energetic and outgoing Clinical Administrative Assistant to join our facility and growing clinical team at our Markham and North York locations.
Required shifts are Tuesdays to Fridays 8:00am – 2:00pm (Saturdays and Sundays 8am-2pm also available). Afternoon/evening shifts (2:00pm-8:00pm) could be available instead of daytime hours depending on experience and training.
The successful candidate will have excellent communication/interpersonal skills, strong exercise prescription knowledge, and be proficient in multi-tasking and working in a fast-paced clinical environment.
Duties & Responsibilities
_ Patient check-in, scheduling appointments, responding to telephone & in-person inquiries_
_ Fax, photocopy, scanning as required_
_ Ordering office and clinical supplies, when required_
_ Complete third party forms & letters when required_
_ Assist practitioner in maintaining records_
_ Providing support for effective functioning of the clinic, general office organization, management and administrative support_
_ Maintaining general cleanliness of office space_
We are looking for a motivated self-starter who is passionate about providing excellent customer service in the healthcare industry. A qualified candidate must possess:
_ Energetic, positive, friendly and outgoing_
_ Experience with Janeapp Online Platform and high level of computer proficiency_
_ Ability to work independently and take initiative. Able to analyze processes and workflows and identify issues and possible improvements_
_ A recognized medical office administration program diploma, or equivalent work/education_

_ Proficient computer and phone skills_
_ Multi-tasker, great organizational skills, detail-oriented, quick learner, and good memory_
_ Adaptable and able to anticipate changing workflow_
_ Punctual, reliable, and flexible_
_ Passion for health, wellness and helping others_
_ Able to work well in a team environment, able to learn well from others_
_ Strong interpersonal skills_
_ Ability to communicate in other languages a bonus_
Experience is preferred but not required – paid training will be provided.
