Reid Health Hiring for Cardiac Diagnostic Assistant at Richmond, Indiana Full Time

Performs and assists physicians with diagnostic procedures. Duties include, but are not limited to: pulmonary function, EKG, holter monitor testing, diagnostic stress gastrointestinal and neurophysiological procedures. In addition assumes responsibility and accountability for other cardiopulmonary services and universal tasks as assigned.

• Assist physicians

• Provide directions

• Answer phones

• Check supplies and restock rooms

• Clean equipment

• Initiate paperwork

• Escort patients

• Support patients, families, significant others

• Assist with holding/moving patients

• Transport patients

• Electrode placement

• Pre and post procedure patient calls

• Vital signs

Experience Required: Minimum of one year of recent employment in a patient care setting, preferably in a doctor’s office or hospital setting.

License: Preferred Licensure in the State of Indiana as a Licensed Practical Nurse.

Certification: Current certification in cardiopulmonary resuscitation or successful completion at end of orientation.

Day shift. 40 hours weekly. 7:00a-3:30p.
