DON’T TAKE IT FROM US, HEAR FROM SOME OF OUR RECENT HIRES IN THIS ROLE:
“I joined Ritchie Bros. Auctioneers family as an Account Receivable Administrator. Initially, it was just a 4-month co-op term to gain some experience, Which was then extended to a permanent part-time/co-op employee until I graduated. After my graduation, I was hired as a full-time employee. Leaders here truly value employee empowerment and growth. Combine that with Ritchie Bros. Auctioneers being one of the very few global companies based in Burnaby, the opportunity for growth is limited only by your imagination.”
“I joined Ritchie Bros. as a Disbursements administrator upon graduating with a Business Degree from BCIT, and it’s been a blast!
Just like you, I was a college student with a lot of uncertainty, unsure of what to expect in a tough job market during a pandemic (2021). I got in touch with the company at a BCIT career fair and choosing to work here has been the best single decision I have made regarding my career.
Ritchie Bros. is a global company listed on the Toronto Stock Exchange (TSE: RBA), with lots of opportunities and career possibilities within the company.
We have a very diverse team, and representation from people all around the world; this makes for an interesting and involving work environment.
Managers here give you a certain level of autonomy to deliver work to the best of your ability, and are open to your creative ideas for improvement; generally wanting you to succeed at the company.
To give you perspective, I’ve already been involved in numerous projects in my 10 months at the company. My biggest piece of advice working here is to take the opportunity to try out various positions, develop your skills, establish a network, and prove yourself.
I’m certain you will love it here!”
