Rivermaid Trading Company Hiring for Chocolate Production Supervisor at Ephrata, PA Full Time

Job Purpose

The Chocolate Production manager is responsible for the strategic planning and oversight of the chocolate department to deliver positive performance metrics and meet production deadlines.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Analyze future orders and develop production schedules to ensure on-time delivery. Actively communicate with all chocolate department employees to align business goals.
• Record daily production performance metrics and practice continuous improvement to improve metrics.
• Review employees time cards. Manage and communicate schedules of part time, full time, and seasonal employees
• Develop training programs to ensure employees have appropriate tools to perform their jobs
• Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkers to ensure standards of efficiency and quality are being met.
• Communicate with Human Resources Generalist the staffing needed to fulfill orders in a timely manner for upcoming shifts.
• Assist in providing necessary security and safety in the working environment.
• Communicate with the Inventory Manager and Inventory Coordinator inventory that is low or out of stock.
• Perform annual performance reviews, mid year reviews, and new employee 45 and 90 day reviews
• Uphold attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to work under pressure with constant deadlines.
• Maintain a clean, neat and orderly work area.
• Performs other related duties, as assigned, for the purpose of ensuring the efficient and effective functioning of the work area.
• Comply and enforce GMP and SQF policies.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or general education degree (GED)

This position works in a warehouse setting. The role routinely stands on anti-fatigue mats in the work area to complete daily orders for extended amounts of time. This role also routinely transports processed orders to the Chocolate Packer work area for completion. This role may also be required to transport supplies or clean up materials from one work area to another in order to maintain cleanliness and efficiency.
