RME Consultants are recruiting for a passionate, dedicated and enthusiastic Nursery Nurse to join an expanding, fun and friendly Nursery in Stockport, Greater Manchester.

Role – Nursery Nurse

Hours – Monday – Friday (40 hours per week)

Location – Stockport, Greater Manchester

Salary – £17,000 – £23,000 per annum

Duties of the Nursery Nurse:

• Responsible for the Safeguarding of children within the setting at all times
• Promoting a safe and educational environment for learning
• Supporting children and their families in accordance to the EYFS
• Organising and encouraging children to participate in educational activities
• Assisting in providing a safe and caring environment for all children within the nursery
• Encourage positive actions within the setting
• Maintaining relationships with children, parents and colleagues

Requirements of Nursery Nurse:

• Minimum of NVQ (or equivalent) Level 2 and above (please note health and social care qualifications are not suitable)
• Experience of working within a nursery setting in a similar role
• Caring and compassionate with a “can do” attitude
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with parents
