Robert Half Hiring for Accounts Payable Clerk at Reseda Full Time

Description Robert Half has a current opening for an Accounts Payable (A/P) Clerk. Located in Reseda, California, the Accounts Payable Clerk will be a short-term contract / temporary to hire opening. In this dynamic department, there is an opportunity for career growth and quick advancement. The Accounts Payable Clerk position will require to match and batch code invoices, resolve A/P issues, process expense reports, update and reconcile sub-ledger to G/L, and process checks.

How you will make an impact

• Carry out a full-cycle A/P

• Verify, log and send checks, including facilitating special handling

• Provide customer service to internal business partners

• Ensure compliance with company policies while carrying out daily processes and controls accurately and on time

• Organize, register, scan, and file invoices, checks, and other documents

• Provide internal and external audit assistance as required

• Handle daily department mail by opening, sorting, and distributing it

• Assist the AP/Finance Department with administrative tasks

• Complete special projects on an as-needed basis Requirements – Established communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills, especially with both technical and financial backgrounds

• AA or BS/BA degree in Accounting, Business or similar preferred

• Spreadsheet and database capabilities

• Command of Quickbooks Online

• Accounts Payable (AP) experience desired

• Prior experience in an A/P role preferred

• Attention to detail and proven ability to follow standard procedures is a requirement
