Working for a well-known brand, this is an autonomous and wide-scoped Accounts Receivable position in a well-established finance team in the heart of the CBD. Mainly looking after the accounts receivable duties, you will be supporting the finance function with wider tasks.
The role!
This exciting opportunity reports to the Finance Manager, supporting the accounts payable and assistant accountant functions when needed. You will take full ownership of the accounts receivable function and debtors ledger. To succeed in this role, we are looking for 2+ years of Accounts Receivable experience across medium – to large- sized organisations with a reasonably high volume workload.
Key Responsibilities (non-exhaustive)
- Bank reconciliations of accounts on a daily basis
- Processing accounts receivable and allocating receipts to debtors ledger
- Processing corporate travel transactions
- Clearing the accounts receivable inbox daily
- Provide support to the accounts payable team with entering invoices
- reconciling monthly vendor statements with invoices received
What experience/qualifications do I need?
We are looking for an accounts receivable officer with large organisation experience, as this will allow for a seamless transition. Excellent communication skills are key for this role, as you will be needing to communicate effectively across the business and with external vendors and creditors, auditors, and property managers. There is a preference for those with professional services experience having worked with MYOB or large ERP systems.
