RocDoc Health Check is a medical company providing SARS-CoV-2 testing to individuals and companies/organisations throughout Ireland. We are seeking candidates preferably with medical experience for swabbing staff.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will work as part of a team to support the collection of patient samples for the detection of Covid 19 . The successful candidate will begin training and working as a check in scanning staff member and, following a successful probationary period and completion of swabbing training, will then work as a swabber. They must have excellent organisation and team-work skills, as well as the ability to work well under pressure.

The position operates on an Ad-Hoc basis both on long term and short term notice. The successful candidate will need to be available to work our set roster which includes 10 hour shifts rotating over a three and a four day week.

Applicants must have the right to work in the EU and the ability to work shifts, including public holidays and weekends.

Garda vetting will be undertaken on commencement of / or prior to employment and at appropriate intervals thereafter. Full Training will be provided.

This position is based on working an Ad-Hoc basis where the shifts may vary. The roster includes days,lates, nights and weekends. Additional shifts can be undertaken through overtime.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

§ Check in patients onsite at testing centres and direct them as appropriate.

§ Checking of customer identification

§ Assisting customers with queries and account set up

§ Completion of associated administration duties, during the testing process as per company processes.

§ Taking a suitable swab from an individual

§ Processing the swab through the system

§ Comply with obligations to protect and respect patient confidentiality and data at all times.

§ Any other duties as required from time to time, as assigned by the team leader.

§ Strong interpersonal, organisation and communication skills.

§ The ability to work independently and under direction as well as an ability to work closely with others as part of a team.

§ Demonstrated ability to work accurately with a high level of attention to detail.

§ Ability to work to a deadline and work under pressure.

§ Flexible approach to work, and willingness to adapt to changes in an evolving company.

§ Previous customer service experience is an advantage.

§ Ability to speak a second language is an advantage.

This position is for an immediate start.

Other Information:

§ Applicants must be in general good health and not classified as in any of the Covid current high risk groups therefore:

Ø Must not have a long term medical condition.

Ø Must not be pregnant.

Ø Must not have a weakened immune system through medical conditions or therapy.
