Aligned to our mission – to expand human possibility – we are looking for an Industry Strategy Manager to support, build and lead winning industry strategies that deliver value to our customers and drive sustainable growth now and into the future. This person will cover Life Sciences Industries in the Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) region.
The ideal candidate is a motivator, inspirer and change agent who can skillfully deliver rapid, sustainable, and measurable value to our business and our customers and has previous experience is supporting large EMEA wide organizations and a proven ability to achieve results.
Skills, Knowledge, Experience and Education
The candidate needs to bring at least a bachelor’s degree, preferably with MBA, and several years of experience in Life Science, strategy development and execution and in working in international organizations.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree, MBA is preferred.
Experience:
Extensive experience working in or with Life Science companies is required.
Minimum of 8 years of strategy and/or consulting experience.
Proven successful track record of leadership in an intentional company with a matrix environment.
Experience leading by influence cross-country and -functional teams to develop and execute winning strategies & solutions.
Skills:
Excellent English written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal and collaborative skills.
Ability to structure complex topics into concise summaries with clear conclusions and action plans.
Can deliver high quality output and work under pressure and within deadlines.
Good communicator who is used to work with senior management level (both internal management and customer management)
Empathetic to a variety of sales resources, as well as the customer/prospect base.
Deep understanding of direct sales organizations and partner ecosystems, and how they must work together.
Other:
Ability to travel about 20-30% of time. Expected to visit customers and sales teams to understand the voice of the customer.
Legal authorization to work in EMEA is a must.
