The SEND Outreach Services consist of four established and highly regarded teams that cover early years, autistic spectrum disorder, primary and secondary school support and sensory impairment.
At STEPS we support and promote the inclusion of pupils with special educational needs in mainstream settings and we are seeking an experienced teacher to join our hardworking and supportive team.
You will support the inclusion of children with SEND within a mainstream setting, focussing on the development of literacy, maths and independence skills through direct work, training, and consultation meetings with relevant stakeholders. Therefore, you will require experience of teaching and assessing learners with SEND within mainstream and/or specialist provisions; excellent verbal and written communication skills and a clear understanding of the fundamental principles of the SEND code of practice.

You would be travelling across the Borough but based in Eltham and it would be an advantage to be a car user.
