Remote patient monitoring (RPM) uses digital tools to track patient health data from outside the healthcare setting. Patient data is collected from wherever the patient is located & electronically transmitted (securely) to their health care providers. RPM is helping to reduce healthcare costs by increasing in-home support, patient education and accountability and prevent relapse or readmission to hospitals.

RPM Healthcare is a fast growing new company developed by a passionate, talented entrepreneurial team with nearly 40 years of patient education experience. Our team has created an application called RPM365 that is used to continuously track patients with chronic conditions like asthma, COPD, diabetes, hypertension, etc. The application is used to identify out-of-range values that can be dangerous, and to notice trends and/or triggers that may be impacting an individual’s medical condition. In order to follow up on patients over time and offer a more personalized quality of care, an RPM 365 Care Coach is assigned to support, engage and track the patient’s data which will ultimately be received by the patient’s health care provider.
Job brief
Medical Practices from around the country are signing up their patients with RPM Healthcare services. These practices provide us with lists of patients who have been informed about the services. These are warm leads that you will need to reach out to, engage, seek consent from, and ultimately connect to the RPM 365 app and the devices prescribed by their doctor.
We are looking for an enthusiastic Patient Onboarding Specialist to call patients and/or answer questions in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for influencing potential patients to consent to receiving our services.
A successful Patient Onboarding Specialist must be a US citizen or a permanent resident who is friendly and persuasive and tech savvy enough to help patients upload the app and connect their device. You must be able to explain the importance of our service towards better communication with, and treatment from, their health care provider and overall improved health. The ideal candidate will also be patient, kind and cool-tempered to deal with persons who may not be interested or simply technology averse.
The goal is to grow our company by expanding our network of patients connected to RPM services.
Responsibilities
Call patients using a list provided by medical providers to explain and request consent for services.
Follow up call after the RPM equipment is received and connect patients to RPM services (phone app, and equipment)
Answer incoming calls from prospective patients
Use scripts to provide information about product’s features, prices etc. and present their benefits (Medicare and/or other insurance reimbursement)
Ask pertinent questions to understand the patient’s concerns
Record the patient’s personal information accurately in a computer system
Handle complaints or concerns to safeguard the company’s reputation
Go the “extra mile” to meet « connection » quotas and facilitate future on-boarding of patients
Keep records of calls and sales and any useful information
Requirements
Proven experience in a phone sales/customer service role
Proven track record of successfully meeting sales quotas preferably over the phone
Working knowledge of relevant computer programs (e.g. CRM software) and smartphone technology
Assess patient comfort level with smartphone application and either Bluetooth or cellular device
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Proficient in English
Skilled in negotiation and handling complaints
Persistent and results-oriented
Patient and able to handle customer rejection
High school diploma; BSc/BA is a plus
Second language is a plus
U.S citizen or permanent resident
Expectations and Compensation
Work from home
Paid for the hours you work minimum of 25 hours per week ($25/hr)
Part time to full time between 9:00 am and 7:00 PM Mon through Saturday
Will receive training
Will report to the Care Team Manager
