Rx Urban Remedies Looking for Pharmacy Assistant at Vancouver, BC Full Time

To work under the direct supervision of a licensed Pharmacist and store Manager. Pharmacy clerks perform basic administrative and organizational tasks in a pharmaceutical setting. They create and maintain patient files, maintain the front store products, working the outbound post office, and cashier.

YOUR TASKS

Assist the pharmacist in maintaining federal, provincial, and local laws, and Policies and Procedures (P&Ps).

Answer telephones and assist customers

Perform prescription data entry

Correct labeling of product

Assists the pharmacist in maintaining appropriate inventory levels

Orders, receives and stores medications and supplies in appropriate environment

Performs physical inventories

Communicates appropriately with all members of the pharmacy team

Performs other duties as assigned

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TEAM

• Minimum high school diploma
• Kroll and PharmaNet experience
• Previous pharmacy experience
• Organized, punctual and disciplined; strong computer skills
• Great customer service skills
• Use computer and other equipment and reach for boxes to sort inventory
• Lifting required as per employee capacity, employee must notify Supervisor regarding any health issues that may affect ability to lift

Job Types: Part-time, Full-time

Salary: $19.00-$22.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• Weekend availability

Experience:

• Pharmacy: 1 year (preferred)
