Safe Power Services Looking for Project Administrator at Christchurch, Canterbury, New Zealand Full Time

This role provides project administration support to Safe Power Services and its customers by coordinating and collating the required information to schedule jobs for the field team.

A little about us:

Safe Power Services Limited has over 35 years of experience and is a well-respected Orion and MainPower network livening agent and electrical contractor.

Safe Power Services specialise in a wide range of services including:

• Permanent connections
• Isolations and reinstatements
• High-risk electrical inspections
• Revenue metering
• Decommissions
• Overhead to underground conversions
• Connection/network alterations
• Temporary power supplies
• Service installations

Our field technicians travel between the Rakaia River through Christchurch, wider Canterbury and as far north as Kaikoura.

Job requirements:

• Project administration and coordination – collating job information and paperwork, setup, and management of jobs in the database and via network websites, and scheduling for the field team
• Finance administration – interpret job results from the field to ensure all costs are captured, draft invoices in Xero (on occassion: prepare weekly invoicing summaries and enter creditor invoices)
• Estimate/scope administration – setup scope details for the Director to attend sites, prepare electrical documentation and site markups, documentation management and sub-contractor liaison
• Inbox and calendar management (across multiple accounts)
• General administration and office duties – meter/stock orders, internal building/office audits, meter work order requests to approved test house/s
• Provide detailed responses and estimates to customer queries
• Point of contact for all incoming phone calls and meeting/greeting any visitors to the Safe Power Services office
• Attend quarterly health and safety meetings and provide minute-taking

Mandatory requirements for all applicants include:

• Being a New Zealand citizen – note you must currently reside in New Zealand to apply for this role
• A minimum of at least five years of executive level administration experience
• Advanced-expert level within MS Office programmes
• Holding a New Zealand full and clean driver’s license

Salary band:

$60,000 – $65,000
