Our client is a leading B2B sales education platform that provides further education to sales teams at companies across Canada and the United States. They have partnered with industry leaders including C-level executives at Zoom, Tableau, and Hubspot to create classes and modules with the intention of creating better salespeople across all levels of sales seniority.

There is no denying that there is a severe lack of further education for sales professions today. Nearly every other discipline has Masters or PhD programs, but sales professionals are limited in opportunities to better themselves.

Our client is looking to change this reality and they are looking for a Director of Sales who is just as passionate about making change as they are.

As Director of Sales, you will be responsible for managing a top-class team of remote Account Executives. This role is critical to the company as they continue to expand the sales team in the US towards further growth within the Mid-Market. This position reports to the VP of Sales.

• Coaching, mentoring, motivating a high-producing sales team.
• Assist in the ongoing recruiting, onboarding, and enablement to grow and maintain a sales team.
• Formulate and execute monthly and quarterly sales plans.
• Assist sales team with client meetings, presentations, and negotiations.
• Inspire, lead and coach a dynamic and fast-paced sales team.
• Coach and provide feedback to the sales team in the areas of sales/personal development, direction and focus.
• Conduct weekly forecast and deal reviews and quarterly progress review sessions with each representative.
• Manage productivity, funnel of opportunities, and quality to ensure teams meet established goals and standards.
• Ongoing process improvements, recommendations, and implementation of systems that will make our team more efficient.
• Assist in managing programs to achieve target goals for the team and individual representatives.

About you…

• You’re a team player with excellent communication and leadership skills.
• You’ve got 3+ years of successful sales management experience in a B2B SaaS environment. Selling to sales people is a plus!
• Recent experience selling as an individual contributor.
• Success in building, growing, and managing a highly prolific sales team.
• Customer Focused – personally demonstrated that both external and internal customers are a high priority by identifying, and responding to their needs in a timely and efficient manner.
• Initiative – Recognizes opportunities and initiates actions to capitalize on them by looking for new and productive ways to make an impact.
• Innovative Thinking – Embraces and champions new ideas and encourages others to do likewise.
• Building Organizational Commitment – Demonstrates commitment, loyalty, and appreciation for the organization. Conveys a high level of concern for all employees, while helping to ensure that both their needs and those of the organization are met.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
