The Slack Product Marketing team is looking for a Technical Product Marketer — someone who loves our products, knows how to customize it to fit any use case, and can wrap it all up in an engaging demo story.

Reporting to the VP of Product Marketing, you’ll be responsible for the demo program from top to bottom. One day you’ll be teaming up with our developers and designers to build out a high profile visionary demo for our Frontiers conference, the next you might be working with our marketing team on developing the demo strategy for incoming leads. Whatever you’re working on you’ll be pushing the boundaries of our product and platform and showcase our customers’ success stories to the world.

What you will be doing
Lead our keynote product demonstrations at events and broadcasts shown around the world
Work closely with Customer Marketing to source customer success stories
Partner with Corporate Messaging on the narrative of our demonstrations
Coach Salesforce executives on their delivery
Align with the Keynote logistics team on all production elements
Manage the relationship with all of our wonderful vendors
Partner closely with Product Management and other Product Marketers to understand the product strategy, distill key functionality and value into core product positioning and translate that into a demo narrative
Work with the broader team to develop innovative new ways to showcase the power of Slack + Salesforce
Partner with marketing and web teams on overall demo strategy for the web as well as managing asset creation and lifecycle
Keep current with technology trends and how emerging technology can be incorporated into our demos
What you should have
7+ years of experience in product marketing, product management, or solution engineering at a high tech company, or similar equivalent
At least 4 years experience in B2B enterprise software
Experience with enterprise applications such as CRM, ERP, customer service or homegrown solutions
Ability to connect technical concepts with customer value and express it succinctly
Ability to craft clear and compelling messages as well as willingness to roll up your sleeves to build externally-facing assets and internal deliverables
Highly-proactive, self-starter capable of independently leading several projects with limited direction
Strong presentation skills with the ability to educate and inspire small groups and conference audiences
A love for storytelling in a simple, thoughtful, and visual manner
Four year degree
