WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
Receive courier delivery of incoming mail collected from local post office boxes. Separate certified and priority mail from first class mail and log-in the trackable mail. Date stamp and open envelope. Identify department and or recipient of each mail piece and place in appropriate slot for delivery.
Receive incoming courier delivery of interoffice mail and packages. Log-in trackable mail. Identify department and or recipient of each mail piece and place in appropriate slot for delivery.
Receive incoming overnight courier deliveries. Log-in packages. Identify department and or recipient of each package. Print delivery manifests per department instructions and deliver packages to recipients
Complete internal pick-up and delivery of USPS, interoffice and overnight mail in accordance with established schedules.
Scan return mail pieces.
Schedule and print mail out requests in accordance with department instructions.
Utilizing internal office equipment fold/insert letters into envelopes and apply postage in accordance with company policies and procedures and USPS requirements.
Prepare and coordinate outgoing local and overnight courier pick-ups.
Complete ad hoc printing and binding jobs per business unit request.
Scan, Import, and Index documents into Imaging system timely and accurately in accordance with established procedures.

Education: H.S. Diploma or equivalent work experience
Work Experience: 0-3 years ;
Skills and Abilities:
Effective communication skills, the ability to multitask and manage priorities, and a proactive approach to job responsibilities
Must be highly motivated with the ability to work independently on assigned tasks as well as to accept direction on given assignments
Have superior phone skills and the capability to handle a switchboard and the ability to quickly and accurately direct calls to personnel and departments
Ability to take initiative and work with team members to accomplish goals in a fast-paced and changing work environment
Excellent communication, presentation and reasoning skills
Ability to follow instructions, prioritize and multi-task
Ability to learn new skills and take on additional job responsibilities as needed and as the position evolves throughout time

Working Conditions: Frequent Minimal physical effort such as sitting, standing and walking. Occassional moving and lifting equipment and furniture is required to support onsite and offsite meeting setup and teardown. Physically capable of lifting up to fifty pounds, able to bend, kneel, climb ladders.
