Sargent Logistics Hiring for Load Coordinator (Dispatcher) at Chicago, IL Full Time

SARGENT LOGISTICS seeking a professional and highly motivated load coordinator, dispatcher for our OTR company drivers. Our main hub is in Chicago and our terminals are strategically situated throughout the west coast (Seattle, WA, Portland, OR, Los Angeles, CA) and a terminal in the New Jersey area. Concentrated but not limited to east-to-west coast freight, servicing all states. Company-owned fleet.

Responsibilities:

– Communication with assigned drivers

– Route planing for assigned drivers

– Booking freight

– Customer support

Requirements:

– Minimum 1 yes dispatching experience

– Ability to work independently as well as part of the team

– Ability to work and multitask in fast paced environment

– Knowledge of DAT and Internet Truckstop load boards

– Strong problem solving skills

Compensation:

salary + bonus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 – $150,000.00 per year

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• 8 hour shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Chicago, IL 60632: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

• Dispatching: 1 year (Preferred)
