Are you a master of multitasking? Do you thrive in a fast-paced environment? We’re on the lookout for a Reservations & Conference Coordinator to join our team for an 8 month fixed term maternity leave position!

As our ideal candidate, you’ll have a passion for providing exceptional customer service, as well as experience in reservations, rooming lists, and bookings. You’ll also be a pro at managing conference enquiries, meet & greets, and on-site client visits.

Mostly Monday to Friday, but we need someone with flexibility to be on-site for meetings, conferences, and big events, which may require early starts, later finishes, or even weekends. And who knows, you might even get to assist in our Front Office too!

Key Tasks & Responsibilities
The Reservation & Conference Coordinator role will involve:

• Managing reservations for the hotel, including rooming lists, bookings, and changes
• Handling conference enquiries and managing the booking process for conferences and events
• Conducting meet & greets and on-site client visits to ensure smooth execution of conferences and events
• Coordinating with other departments within the hotel to ensure seamless communication and execution of events
• Providing exceptional customer service to clients and guests
• Managing event logistics, including setup and breakdown of conference rooms and equipment
• Handling billing and payment for conferences and events
• Maintaining accurate records of conference and event bookings, rooming lists, and reservations
• Assisting with Front Office tasks and duties as needed.

Skills, Experience & Qualifications Required
The successful candidate will need to have:

• Proven experience in reservations, rooming lists, and bookings
• Experience in conference and event coordination, including managing bookings, meet & greets, and on-site client visits
• Experience in handling billing and payment for conferences and events
• Experience in managing event logistics, including setup and breakdown of conference rooms and equipment
• Experience in providing exceptional customer service to clients and guests
