What the role is

The Area Events Manager is in charge of the planning and execution of all events and activities at the location including all elements.

What you will be doing

• Being Present at big and/or important events
• Communicate with Events Manager or headquarters and fill in daily reports and following CVC and details for events and activities
• Updating daily / monthly reports by protocol.
• Building a monthly event schedule (EMS) and deliver it on the requested time
• Making sure all events are being promoted properly by the Sales & Marketing department
• Think outside the box and have a creative mind to solve problems
• Create a database for vendors, teacher, Djs, entertainment, bands, instructors, etc.. for amazing alliances on our facilities
• Close the commercial terms & conditions for instructors, teaches, entertainment, etc.
• In charge of Selina’s approved playlist is being played
• In charge of checking and reporting any sound or visual equipment maintenance issue
• Assisting in the process of searching, updating and compiling a database of wellness related partners in terms of teachers, venues, programs, suppliers and other potential strategies to enrich the wellness & workshop programs through local collaborations.
• Assisting teachers and/ or instructors in the process of guest sign-up and sign-in to create a database of participants and making sure payment is collected.
• Assisting instructors in the correct set-up for lessons in our facilities
• Constantly update calendar for events happening in your location such as surf events, wellness retreats, workshops, suppliers, manufacturers, holidays, etc.
• Create audiovisual daily content for the Location Social Media.
• Supervise and maintain branding at the location and request
• Supervise and maintain branding at the location and request new material when needed.

What you need for the role

• Fully Bilingual (english and local language )
• Strong organization and time management skills (to manage schedules, budgets, etc)
