Colmore Education are currently looking for an EYFS Teacher for a school with children who have severe learning difficulties in Redditch. This a full-time role and long-term role. Experienced EYFS Teachers are encouraged to apply for this role due to the nature and demands of the role and the school.

The school is located within proximity to Redditch train station.

• You will be supported by senior leadership team and experienced learning support staff

About this role:

• Supporting children in EYFS with MLD (moderate learning difficulties) /SLD (severe learning difficulties)
• You will be using the National Curriculum to deliver lessons to suit the pupils in the class
• You will be working alongside learning support staff in your classroom to make sure that the needs of all the pupils are met
• Delivering high standard learning opportunities to pupils throughout the school day
• Managing behavioural and emotional needs of pupils with the support from the learning support staff
• Providing guidance for teaching assistants and working with them to ensure lesson plans suit individual pupils

About you:

• Have minimum 6 months experience working with pupils in EYFS
• You must have a UK QTS or equivalent
• You must be patient and have a good understanding of the service and complex needs of the pupils
• Must be able to adapt your teaching style to meet the pupil’s individual needs
• You are committed to safeguarding and being aware of the important of following the safeguarding policies and procedures
• Experienced in delivering high quality education to pupils
• Be caring and understanding
