ISL has a dynamic team culture, committed to employee development. We now have an exciting opportunity for an AS&T Analyst to join their team. The main purpose of this role is to use analytical experience in a variety of techniques to perform non-routine analysis, method development and validation, method transfers, troubleshooting analytical methods and work on specially assigned projects related to testing at ISL laboratories.
Job Description
Perform method development and validation according to SGS requirements and procedures for a variety of analytical techniques as per customer requirements and timelines.
Perform and manage method transfers as per customer requirements and timelines.
Perform QC method troubleshooting as required
Conduct and conclude scientific analytical investigations according to cGMP.
Participate in the installation of new or existing equipment as requested and develop SOPs.
Perform analytical testing on non-routine samples, preparing scientific reports
Perform training on a variety of analytical techniques for new and existing employees
Participate in local and global projects as required
Maintain laboratories to a high housekeeping standard
Write and maintain necessary documentation (test protocols, SOPs, instrumentation manuals and checkout sheets, method transfer reports, OOS reports, etc.) according to the existing SOPs and cGMP standards
Maintain own state of the art knowledge of analytical techniques. Act as a Subject Matter Expert
Support with information transfer between AS&T and QC operations e.g. Analytical Guidance document creation/updates
Ensure that laboratory equipment are well maintained, and calibrations are carried out at the designated frequencies.
Review results generated by other analysts for compliance with requirements.
Support in preparation and execution of audits
Qualifications
Science Graduate in Chemistry or equivalent education with greater than 3 years’ experience in analytical testing using a variety of chromatographic, instrumental and wet chemistry techniques.
Experience with current Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and sound knowledge of analytical technologies with demonstrated troubleshooting skills.
A proven strong track record in demonstrating leadership and influencing skills
Excellent Communication, coaching and Interpersonal Skills
Strong organisational skills
Demonstrated analytical technical capability & technical writing skills
Quality focused, innovative, results driven, possessing drive and ambition
Ability to troubleshoot, multi-task and work under own initiative
