My client is seeking a Junior to Mid-level Software Engineer who is keen to learn and develop their skills with modern technologies. My client is tech agnostic, and is happy to train and develop the successful candidate in the specific tech stack that they use. Key responsibilities:

• Development of a next generation software solution, as per the requirements, timelines, and within defined development practices.
• write clean, maintainable and testable code using object oriented and SOLID principles.
• Team up with the existing technology team and the wider business in the design, development, and delivery of the administration system.
• Deliver high quality code utilizing leading edge design patterns and techniques, all within an agile development environment.
• Develop and support cloud (Azure) native applications.

Required qualification/experience/skills

• Tertiary Qualification in IT / Computer Science / related discipline.
• Minimum of 1 years experience in software development
• My client is tech agnostic, so you will not be required to know a specific language. However, solid skills with a prominent language (such as .Net/C#, Java, JavaScript, Python, C/C++, etc.) is important.
• Experience with Web APIs
• Understanding of Object Oriented Programming
• Experience with SQL Server/TSQL Git or other source code control technologies
• Excellent communication skills to interact with both the tech team and business

Nice to haves:

• Any front-end framework
• Experience with Public cloud services (i.e., Azure, AWS)
