Based in Perth, the DevOps Software Engineer requires an Agilist with skills and experience to work with several technologies and architectural approaches to uplift Shell Energy’s technical capability and remediate technical debt. The role will work collaboratively within an Agile Squad to create, support, and enhance products and areas of functionality it owns. The cradle to grave solution approach embraces our DevOps model and is delivered in alignment with our values and culture.

About you

To be successful in this role, you will learn and apply modern engineering practices to solve problems and agile principles to deliver incremental, valuable business outcomes. You will bring an inquisitive, continuous improvement mindset that actively supports Cloud adoption, Test Automation, CI/CD, Site Reliability Engineering, and new Application Architectures (specifically Microservice Architectures and Event Driven Application Architectures) in your squad. You will be supported by the Technical Lead in your squad and the Architecture and Engagement team.

Ideally you will have Experience with at least one cloud platform and extensive experience with at least one of (but preferably both) C# and Javascript.
