SHI International Corp. Looking for Full Stack Developer – Internship  at Austin, TX Full Time

The Full Stack Developer Intern at SHI focuses on developing new applications for internal resources and customers. This position will focus on digital transformation projects, including development and implementation services, concentrating on software and hardware installation, configuration, and testing. This position will be responsible for parts of the system’s life cycle, including designing, coding, testing, implementing, maintaining, and supporting application solutions software. This role will collaborate with other departments, providing application support, understanding new technologies, and how those changes will impact an existing production environment.  

This position will report to the Senior Director of IT – Architecture in the Austin, TX office location.    

Include, but not limited to:  

• Collaborate with team members to design, develop, and maintain existing and new applications, systems, and scripts.  
• Provide coding to support Digital, Deployment, or Security solutions.  
• Manage and own the complete software development process from conception to deployment.  
• Work simultaneously with our product and design team to create new and innovative application experiences for our users.  
• Build scalable and responsive front-end applications through appealing visual design and cutting-edge technologies.  
• Build reliable and scalable backend applications.  
• Follow coding standards and best practices to deliver cohesive, readable code.  

• Currently enrolled as a junior or senior in good academic standing, working towards a bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, software development, or a related field.  
• Familiarity with the following standards, programming languages, platforms, and frameworks: Python, C#, JavaScript, Angular, Typescript, .NET, SQL/NoSQL, XML, JSON, HTML/CSS, and Microsoft GRAPH, GIT.  
• Familiar with API design and development concepts like authentication, throttling, and versioning.   
• Observability and monitoring concepts, tools, and frameworks are a plus.
