Shopify Hiring for Performance Marketer (Remote, EMEA) at London Full Time

You’ll be the driving force behind our demand generation and retention strategy for Shop. Working alongside our product, data, content, UX, product marketing, and social teams you’ll help define the ecosystem Growth team’s Performance Marketing strategy and how we plan on taking app developer growth to the next level. This role is dedicated first, and you have the opportunity to help build the roadmap, run with experiments, and identify the strategic levers we can pull that will maximize our ROI.

You will own the channels that drive the inbound lead demand and retention. This role sits across the acquisition part of our lifecycle and will operate channel agnostically, ie. Facebook, Paid Search, YouTube as well as our own channels we need to explore such as monetary incentives and referrals.

Responsibilities

• Build, plan and implement the overall performance marketing strategy

• Align on, set up and measure key metrics like Customer Lifetime Value, ROI and ad spent

• Continuously size opportunities for campaigns for different channels

• Work directly with product and product marketing to develop new marketing channels such as referral programs or incentive-based marketing

• Execute on paid campaigns end to end.

• Demonstrable experience executing and managing SEO/SEM, email, social media, and display advertising campaigns

• Experience with incentive-based marketing

• .Demonstrable experience growing active user base through performance marketing

• Experience with experimentation

• Experience using Google Analytics, Mode, Amplitude, and other reporting tools

• Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage, inform and motivate

• Ability to align project KPI’s with reporting & custom tracking metrics

• Experience building multi-channel retargeting campaigns

• Implement successful bidding strategies and effective keyword management

• Research competition, investigate benchmarks and provide suggestions for improvement.
