Position Overview:
The Educational Solutions group within the Healthcare Education
Organization is responsible for the development of education and training
curriculum for Siemens Technical and Applications Specialists as well as
third-party vendors.
As a member of the Educational Solutions organization, the BiomedicalEducation Digitalization Intern will be responsible
for supporting the creation of web self-study courses targeting third party
vendors, incorporating guided learning with hands-on activities and knowledge
checks. They will be responsible for the
overall instructional integrity of the online training solutions. The qualified candidate will with work
directly with an Education Consultant and take direction on project needs and
priorities.
This is a role well suited to an ambitiousprofessional, looking for the next step in their career. As a BiomedicalEducation Digitalization Intern, youwill be responsible for :
Themain responsibilities of the Biomedical Education Digitalization Intern includebut are not limited to:
Create and Design digital workbooks includingvirtual machines, images and graphics for online training
Programs.
Create instructional Web Based Trainings and Videoswith minimal assistance, including audio and video
editing.
Design content that enables successful performanceof required hands-on activities.
Support development of design specifications toensure quality, consistency, and conformation for
delivery method.
Ensure that all digital courses are technicallyaccurate and direct learners to approved
documentation.
Interact with subject matter experts and otherstakeholders as needed.

Requiredskills to have for the success of this role:
Theideal candidate will be a student studying Biomedical Engineering, Engineering,Education, Instructional Design, or Instructional Technology and looking togain experience in creating online training solutions.
Students must be enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program (rising junior/senior)
Must have a minimum GPA of 3.2 or higher
Must have availability to work part-time (up to 20 hours week) during the academic year and full-time in the summer (up to 40 hours/week)
Must be comfortable working in a fully virtual environment; if you are required to come onsite, you must follow all site mandated COVID-19 protocols.
Start date: January 2022; 12-month duration.
