As Sr Director Talent Acquisition you will support the development and executeour recruiting, sourcing, and talent pipeline strategies, policies,procedures, processes, and programs. You will collaboratecross-functionally to attract a superbly talented workforce to meet ourspecific business objectives surrounding growth and human capital needs. Youwill execute meaningful TA goals, initiatives, data analytics, and keyperformance indicators in order to provide partnership and insight to ourbusiness leaders, measure progress, and identify areas of opportunity andgrowth. You will promote a culture of compliance, integrity, Inclusion,Diversity, and Equity across the organization and guide the activities ofthe TA function in accordance with applicable regulatory requirements andinternal policies and procedures. Additionally, you will instill a healthyobsession with talent and best-in-class recruiting practices at all levels oftSierra Space, based in Louisville, Colorado with operations in Madison,Wisconsin and Durham, North Carolina, designs and manufactures advancedspacecraft, satellites, propulsion and environmental systems, spacecraftsubsystems and components for the U.S. government (including NASA),commercial customers and international organizations.Must-haves:Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Management or related fieldof studyRelevant work experience may substitute for required educationDemonstrated expertise in the attraction and sourcing of human capital in afast-growing enterprise with multi-site operations iSuccessfully driving human resources activities and goals in support ofcontinuous growth and advancementA proven ability to establish and lead the TA organization as a strategic andtactical resource for company executives, department managers, andsupervisors in coordinating TA initiatives, programs, procedures, and policiesBuilding scalable TA programs capable of growing with the organizationThorough knowledge of and direct experience with the development ofcompetitive talent pipeline strategies, training programs to support hiringmanagers, strong DEIB focused interview processes, a unique candidateexperience, and structure to promote continuous sourcing and nurturing oftalent to ensure a healthy bench and future-ready workforceProven ability to add value and increase organizational effectiveness,efficiency and profitability through the alignment of human assets to containcosts and improve financial performanceExcellent acumen for strategic planning of human resource initiativesutilizing data analytics and metrics to drive progress and measure resultsExperience successfully managing employee and compliance risk and having astrong knowledge and understanding of federal, state, and local employmentlaws and regulationsWorking knowledge and expertise in executive compensation strategiesProven leadership abilities inclusive of successful change management,mentoring, career development, training, succession planning, holdingpeople accountable, and conducting yearly reviewsMastery of the ability to manage complex situations, delegate authority,lead and inspire your team, drive innovative thinking, instillcollaboration, drive success, challenge the status quo, and demonstratethe ability to adapt to dynamic situationsProven experience and skills in team building, conflict resolution,briefing, presentation, and strategic thinkingStrong communication skills, including the ability to clearly expressconcepts in verbal and written forms; ability to tailor conversations toadapt to varying audiencesAbility to navigate change and uncertainty, make defensible decisions inambiguity, and own those decisionsPreferred:Typically 12-15 years of relevant Leadership experience; 10+ yearsdemonstrated experience in Human ResourcesActive SHRM-CP/SCP or PHR/SPHR/GPHR CertificationSkills in assessing external competition by gathering data from multiple,often disparate, qualitative and quantitative sources and synthesizing itinto meaning
