Maintenance Planner – Finegand

Due to internal promotion, our largest productional site in the network – Finegand, Balclutha – have an opportunity for a proven Maintenance Planner to join this fast moving and ever growing team. In this role you will have developed the knowledge, skills and abilities in the areas of optimal system and personnel planning and scheduling and be a subject matter expert on CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) utilization and develop a wide knowledge and understanding of effective maintenance systems and methods.

You will interface with Operations and Maintenance staff to ensure the equipment is available for maintenance at the specified time to ensure the right priority maintenance work is accomplished based on business needs.

We are looking for candidates with the following skills:

• Good communication skills and ability to work within deadlines
• Competency in the use of Microsoft applications
• Organisational and time management ability
• Strong analytical ability to solve challenges and create opportunities
• Knowledge of Engineering components and equipment

Advantageous skills:

• Previous experience in CMMS (MEX) is desirable but not essential
• CAD skills will be an advantage
• A relevant trade’s qualification and/or previous Maintenance Planning experience is preferred
• Understanding of/or having been involved in or worked within an FMCG environment

As the Maintenance Planner, you will be responsible for maintaining an asset register and preventative maintenance program to provide the right information for the trade’s staff to perform their duties in an orderly fashion, having identified the right parts and materials.
