Job Purpose:

To create a warm and welcoming atmosphere that extends to all who live in and visit The Croft Nursing home.

You will ensure that every resident has the opportunity for a professional laundering service that maintain and promotes our high standards.

We at the Silver Stream Healthcare group, are actively recruiting for a Laundry Assistant to support The Croft Nursing Home.

Duties:

· Sorting, washing, drying, pressing, and folding clothing and other textile items.

· Removing stains from items using the appropriate procedures.

· You will follow laundering schedules and complete any necessary paperwork

· Report any issues, concerns, or damage to individual’s belongings to the residents’ key worker.

· Keeping an updated inventory of laundry detergents.

· Ensuring that the facility always remains clean.

Job Type: Part-time
Part-time hours: 17 per week

Salary: Up to €11.00 per hour
