The Role
Sime Darby Motors – Transport New Zealand currently has an opportunity for a positive, enthusiastic and people-oriented Store Person to join our team on a casual basis, 2-3 days a week for up to 3 months.
This position offers the successful candidate an opportunity to join a leading NZ company, and gain new skills within the Truck & Trailer Parts industry.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Update and follow up with customers
- Picking, packing and dispatching of stock with excellent accuracy
- Assisting with the loading and unloading of vehicles
To be considered for this role you will need to have the following skills:
- Experience in dispatch
- Exception attention to detail and time management skills
- Strong computer literacy
- Ability to lift up to 20kgs repeatedly throughout the day
- Forklift license is preferred but not essential
This role will suit a stores person who has excellent verbal, written and computer skills with the attitude and ability to get the job done. The ability to work as part of a team and without supervision is also essential.
