Sinomax is currently hiring for a Quality Inspector.

Description of Work: Inspects finished products, products being processed, incoming materials, parts, and assemblies, etc., for conformance to company standards.

Essential Functions

• Checks randomly selected samples, and verifies accuracy of equipment or process.
• Reports conditions requiring immediate repair.
• Uses advanced inspection methods to develop and conduct quality programs.
• Works under general supervision.
• Reviews and becomes thoroughly knowledgeable about process control parameters within assigned area; monitors data to recommend corrective action and implement changes to process as required
• Document errors and deficiencies
• Performs all essential functions of the job for a full range of projects and rotations
• Read and follow work instructions
• Maintain organization and cleanliness of work area

Work Experience

• Prior experience in a manufacturing environment requiring repetitive work preferred
• Ability to read, understand customer specifications
• Understanding of and the ability to abide by applicable OSHA and environmental regulations.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively – verbally & written
• Basic English reading/writing skills
• Ability to perform basic math.
• Ability to adapt to and work in a fast-paced environment
• Firm understanding of measurements and the ability to read a measuring device accurately

Physical Demands/Work Environment

• Must stand and walk for a minimum of 8 hours per day or longer in overtime situations
• Must be able to lift heavy product or raw materials up to 100 pounds multiple times per hour (heavy loads must be team-lifted)
• Work is performed in a sometimes hot, cold, humid, noisy, industrial environment, and around dust, oil, grease
