Title: Baggage Tracing Agent
Reporting to: Service Delivery Manager / Terminal Services Manager
Role: To undertake all necessary duties in order to maintain the day to day operation of the baggage tracing department. The successful candidate will create, monitor/trace and handle all lost, delayed, damaged, and unclaimed luggage – These duties must be performed to the highest standard in order to satisfy passengers and to meet the required service levels of our customer
Rules: As per Sky Handling Partner Employment Contract, Company policy and procedures.
Main Tasks – Baggage Tracing Agent:
· To create AHL/DPR files for any disrupted passengers.
· To carry out any follow up work/secondary tracing on above files.
· To maintain regular contact with disrupted passengers.
· To regularly monitor and clear the action files.
· To answer and act on any telephone/answerphone queries.
· To ensure correct procedures/documentation are carried out for the transportation of unaccompanied hold baggage (Rush Bags).
· To communicate promptly with Station Control the volume of rush baggage per flight.
· To register and store and found property/unclaimed baggage in accordance with company policy.
· To hand over to Customs and Excise officials all relevant found property.
· To maintain daily communication with baggage handlers re prompt delivery of rush baggage to aircraft.
· To maintain daily communication with courier companies re prompt delivery of found baggage to passengers.
· To assist in meeting arriving flights.
· Other duties will be assigned from time to time.

· Ability to work well under pressure.
· Punctuality / Attendance.
· Ability to work rostered shifts and to be flexible in the event of disruptions.
· Complimentary comments/letters.
· Essential Criteria:
Training in World Tracer and previous knowledge of Lost Baggage Handling are essential requirements for the position
· Minimum age requirement 18 years.
· Pass a 5-year security background check and Garda Vetting process
· Provide 2 verifiable references
· Eligible to live and work in the E.U.
· Possess good written and verbal English language skills
· Willing to work a range of shift duties in a 24 hour, 7 day a week operation
· Be physically fit and able to pass a medical assessment
· Prepared to adhere to the SHP grooming & uniform standards
Desirable Criteria:
· Manual Handling Certificate
· Previous experience in an operational environment
· Customer Service experience

• Salary: €15.00 (all inclusive) gross per hour.
• Shift Work Interested candidates will be required to work a range of shift duties in a 24-hour, 7 day a week operation. Shift length can vary between 4 and 10 hours and will include early starts and late finishes.
Hours: 20 per week minimum (up to full-time hours regularly rostered).
