Position Purpose Sleep Number’s Human Resources team is seeking a Workday Analyst who is looking to add immediate value in a team environment, while building reporting & analytics solutions to inform data driven decisions. This role will collaborate with the HR team and business stakeholders to understand their objective, the context behind the need, and provide a solution using the right data source and reporting tool to meet the need.
Primary Responsibilities
Responsible for understanding and prioritizing the business objectives, translating this information in the development of dashboards and reports, improving processes, and troubleshooting and resolving integrations.
Provide functional expertise and support during the design, creation and testing of reports and integrations.
Serve as Workday, Power BI, and Tableau reporting specialist, building relationships with key business users and internal stakeholders to ensure that the solutions provided meet current and future business needs, and are scalable.
Build and review analytics dashboards using PowerBI, Workday and Tableau
Perform day-to-day Workday administrative functions, including data loads, report security maintenance, integration troubleshooting and upgrades
Learn in the role to administer Workday functions, such as security maintenance, configurations, testing, etc.
Analyze Workday security policies and procedures to ensure business objectives are being met and appropriate end user access is maintained
Identify and implement ways to enhance reports and reporting capabilities within Workday to be more efficient and effective for stakeholders
Develop and document team procedures, reporting best practices, guidelines, and policies as needed
Position Requirements
4-year college degree or equivalent experience
Related experience working in/supporting a core HCM system or analytics solution (i.e. Workday, PeopleSoft, PowerBI, etc.)
3+ years HR or data reporting experience desired
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Experience with custom integrations: test, implement and manage, preferred
Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills required
Strong system skills and technical aptitude/interest
Ability to facilitate communication between business and tech teams
Delivers timely and quality work while demonstrating effective work prioritization
Demonstrated analytical ability to see through large amounts of data and analyze it to find conclusions
Ability to translate complex data into a concise and easily understood presentation
Demonstrated ability to be confidential with personal data
Working Conditions
Ability to work remotely, when needed
Standard office environment, requiring the ability to sit or stand for up to 8 hours.
Regular computer usage.
