Our Strategy & Transformation team orchestrates a complex transformation roadmap involving many discrete initiatives across M&A, organic growth, operational efficiencies, talent programs, digital enablement, and business model design. We work closely with business unit and functional leaders to deliver tangible results and act as a role model for the behavior needed to embed change. At our core, we operate like an internal consulting group with the added complexity of managing by influence, dealing with extreme ambiguity, and working on only projects that are a top priority for executives.
As a Manager of Strategic Initiatives , you will take on a wide variety of responsibilities including analyzing strategic business opportunities, facilitating and participating in problem solving sessions, collaborating with a wide range of functional teams, and presenting to senior stakeholders. You will have the opportunity to make an impact from day one and develop your consultative and analytical skills as you learn about all aspects of Sodexo’s business. This is a remote-based (virtual) leadership role. Candidates can be based in any US location, with a preference for the Pacific time zone.
The successful candidate will:
Actively participate in cross-functional strategic initiatives, taking on project management and contribution roles as needed
Liaise with function team members to gather information and review preliminary results
Track financial, operational, and project plan performance
Craft written communications (slides, emails, documents) to be presented to senior stakeholders
Organize, facilitate, and take notes during regular recurring steering meetings involving our senior-most stakeholders – requires a high degree of trust and confidentiality
Is this opportunity right for you? We are looking for candidates who have:
2+ years in management consulting or a similar role (e.g., Business Operations, Strategy or other equivalent strategic business function) working with industry-leading organizations
Experience in strategic problem solving with demonstrable analytical skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills in both formal and informal settings
A willingness to work fluidly and respectfully with our talented and diverse team
Relevant undergraduate degree

Compensation $51,500-$119,800 plus competitive annual incentive plan
