A Software Engineer in a software engineering team that creates tools and integrations for a portfolio of cloud infrastructure services. Extensive experience required in Devops and GitOps, to join a dynamic and agile team of talented engineers who build foundational capabilities and integrations to enable customers to use public cloud for their infrastructure.
Responsibilities
Create integrations with different enterprise tools and processes to ensure best application experience along with required enterprise standards
Write terraform automations for infrastructure and application deployment of customers in AWS and GCP
Integrate Observability Stack and manage lifecycle and operations of hybrid cloud infra
Ensure the quality, performance, robustness, and scalability of the services that are implemented, perform bug fixes and triaging issues
Automate the development, testing, and deployment processes through CI/CD pipelines (GitHub, GitHub Action, Jenkins, Helm, ArgoCD)
Software development lifecycle including design, development, testing, packaging, deployment, upgrade and support (Python)
Required Technical Skills And Experience
5+ years of solid hands-on software development experience with a focus on continuous delivery and deployment and cloud automation
Software programming experience in one or more programming languages (Python preferred)
IaC experience – Terraform, Ansible, GitHub, Github Actions, Jenkins, Helm, ArgoCD
Public Cloud experience (AWS/GCP)
Software design patterns, SDLC, Open-Source Development, Test Driven Development (TDD), Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery
Monitoring & Logging systems – Prometheus/ELK
Security protocols including OS hardening, firewalls, iptables, and working with Infosec.
Experience building cloud-based application using micro-services and deploying in containerized environments
Excellent knowledge of building cloud-native and server-side RESTful applications, APIs and automation tools
Bachelor’s degree in CS/CE/EE or equivalent is required
Non-Technical Requirements
Experience working in an agile development environment
Agile software development practices
Understand IT processes, including Design, implementation, and Operations
Willing to contribute to documentation
