Te āheinga: The opportunity

We are looking for an Assistant Accountant to join our financial services team and assist with the efficient day-to-day operations of our accounting services. In particular, assets, insurance, loans and reserves. This will include but is not limited to, working with the general ledger, reconciliations, reporting, maintaining the fixed asset register, processing new loans and loan repayments, and providing backup and support to the wider team. He kōrero mōu: About you

Our ideal candidate will hold a tertiary qualification in Accounting, or be working towards one, and be able to demonstrate experience in computerised accounting systems and Microsoft tools. You will have a high level of accuracy, numerical skills and attention to detail. Multitasking and being able to manage a varied workload is essential, along with the ability to meet deadlines. You will have effective communication skills and be able to work as part of a team but also take responsibility for your individual duties.
