Te āheinga: The opportunity

The right candidates will be involved in a broad range of areas which include administering the Resource Management Act, processing resource consents, preparing district plan changes, supporting the planning team, carrying out associated regulatory and policy functions to safeguard and enhance the district’s environment in a sustainable manner.

These roles are Tokoroa based permanent roles to be worked Monday to Friday with the flexibility of some days working from home. Hours to be discussed with the successful applicant.

He kōrero mōu: About you

You will be expected to take on an appropriate level of responsibility and have experience in planning, resource consents, and district plan policy analysis. Consistently delivering high levels of customer service in all aspects of your work including direct client contact.

A relevant tertiary qualification in planning/resource management is preferable, as well as relevant experience and a passion for planning. We are especially keen to hear from self-motivated Planners looking for opportunities and a role to make their mark on our growing district.
