If you enjoy working as an integral member of a focussed multidisciplinary team, and have experience working with the wider community, you shouldn’t let this opportunity pass you by.

In this role you will be committed to delivering dedicated mental health support in an age and culturally appropriate manner, whilst liaising effectively in partnership with community agencies to support the patient’s mental health and wellbeing.

• Apply evidenced-based and best practice principles to your role.
• Undertake appropriate crisis triage and assessments of the consumers, and their family’s needs and situation.
• Exhibit effective assessment and skills, and be clinically competent.
• Function as a member of a multidisciplinary team and liaise appropriately with relevant health care professionals, managers, and organisations.

• Hold a current APC and relevant board registration.

You will be required to participate in an after-hours on call roster, and possessing a current, full driver’s licence is essential.

Utu whānui | Salary range

This role belongs to the PSA/DHBs Allied, Public Health and Technical Multi-Employer Collective Agreement and falls between Step 1 ($59,035 p.a) and Step 8 ($85,992 p.a pro rata) of the Allied, Public Health and Technical scale. The registered Nurse psoition belongs to the DHBs/NZNO Collective Agreement and falls between the Step 2 ($64,291 p.a) and Step 8 ($88,757 p.a pro rata).
