Interns are college age students orrecent graduates looking to do a gap year at a nonprofit organization that is active around theworld. Your internship will incorporate all three of our areas of expertise: Training, Missions and ourCampus. You will physically reside on the gorgeous 176-acre campus, learning and participatingin all that goes on here (our farm to table programs, our appropriate technology training, ourglobal village and slum experiences). You will experience training in global hunger, malnutrition,contaminated water and more. You will learn what it means to be a missionary in a developingworld and you will participate in missions as well. There is no other program like it. Having a lovefor the outdoors is not a requirement, but is strongly recommended. We are looking forteachable, humble, missions loving college students or graduates. Your housing will be provided.Seasonal InternshipLearn and Serve is constantly taking applications for our seasonal internship program. Thisprogram lasts three months in the season of your choosing: winter, spring, summer or fall. Duringyour time here, you will learn spiritual disciplines, gain ministry experience, be trained inappropriate technology, sharpen your work ethic and inspire those around you to make a changefor the better! This is a great way to get involved and dip your toes into all we have to offer!9 Month-InternshipWe are revamping our nine-month internship. Beginning in August 2022, we will welcomea new cohort of four college students for our August to May internship program. This program ismade up of six modules: starting with learning our identity in Christ, then moving to learning whatSIFAT is, talking about poverty, stewarding our earth, community development and ending withan international mission trip.
