Southern Irrigation is actively looking for a Full-Time Shipper/Receiving Associate for our Kamloops location. The successful candidate should excel in attention to detail, have good communication skills, and a positive attitude.
Job Title: Shipper/Receiver
Location: 782D Tagish Street, Kamloops BC
Job purpose: This position’s primary responsibilities are ensuring customer orders are gathered, packaged and sent/delivered accurately, efficiently and safely while maintaining a high level of customer service.
Key Result Area
High accuracy and efficiency in shipping/packaging/pulling orders
Ensure orders are shipped within desired time frame
Job Duties and Responsibilities
Gather and package customer orders, and will-call orders
Stock shelves
Track shipments as needed
Process customer orders and take payments
Assist in the preparation of inter-company transfers
Cross-train on additional Shipper duties: acquiring rates, preparing customs paperwork, etc.
Assist other departments, as required
