The Team: The Thought Leadership Team at S&P Global Sustainable1 works across divisions and business lines to weave the company’s extensive ESG data and expertise into a cohesive narrative. The ESG world is rapidly changing, and we explain it in plain English through research, white papers, newsletters, blogs, podcasts and webinars. We value collaboration, clear communication, strong analytical skills and an ability to turn data into a clear and compelling story.
The Impact: Be part of a small, close-knit team that sits at the hub of a wealth of global ESG data and expertise. In this role, you will help craft our ESG thought leadership strategy, with the opportunity to research, write, edit and attend ESG events and conferences. This is a chance to gain familiarity with S&P Global’s extensive ESG data and products while working with key sustainability stakeholders internally and externally.

Responsibilities:
Work with international team to craft thought leadership strategy
Conduct research on key sustainability topics using S&P Global data
Contribute to fast-growing weekly ESG newsletter and podcast
Write and edit thought leadership
Collaborate and communicate effectively across a wide range of stakeholders and data sets.
Use data and creative data visualization techniques to tell a clear story.
What We’re Looking For:
Collaboration: Ability to work collaboratively with a variety of stakeholders and data sets.
Communication: Strong written and verbal English language communication skills required. Experience editing preferred. Previous professional experience with data journalism preferred.
Data: Ability to use data and creative data visualization techniques to tell a clear story. High level of proficiency in MS Excel required; knowledge of data analytics (Python/SQL) preferred.
Subject Matter Expertise: Strong grasp of ESG concepts, ESG research methodologies and trends required. Knowledge of economic and accounting principles and practices, financial markets or reporting of financial data preferred.
Time management: Ability to prioritize when faced with a mix of short-, medium- and long-term deadlines

Compensation/Benefits Information (US Applicants Only):
S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $73 850 to $ 126 092. Base salary ranges may vary by geographic location.
In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for an annual incentive plan.This role is not eligible for additional compensation such as an annual incentive bonus or sales commission plan.
