Job Title – Data Entry

Full-time, Monday- Friday, 8:00AM – 5:00PM

Summary

To accurately input data into a billing system for accounts receivable purposes and demonstrate excellent customer service to walk-in counter customers.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Prepares and open walk-in counter daily
• Greets and assists customers with parcels for shipment
• Utilizes hand held pad to enter packages for pick up or inbound scans
• Accurately enter package information into billing system using the 10-key portion of a keyboard as well as a desk top scanner
• Interacts with customers via telephone and email regarding questions concerning their daily shipping paperwork
• Returns incomplete sheets to drivers to obtain correct information
• Balances and count cash drawer daily
• Prepares cash count for Night Office daily
• Aids the Manifest and Supplies departments as needed
• Performs other duties as assigned

Education and Experience

• High School diploma or equivalent required
• Clerical or administrative experience preferred
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Work requires excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Work requires basic computer knowledge and customer service skills

Physical Requirements

• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk, working on a computer, and answering the phone
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times
