General:

The Permit Coordinator is an integral part of the Sposen Management Team. This position is responsible for managing all aspects of permitting lifecycle from start of the contract to Certificate of Occupancy and provides support to a team of Construction Managers, works on a team to manage a portfolio of job files.

Essential functions:

• Carefully reads pertinent information on contracts related to each parcel to create and manage jobs in BuilderTrend Software System.
• Prepare permit packets for all job sites. (SFR & Pool/Spa Permits)
• Prepares finalization paperwork to obtain Certificate of Occupancy.
• Thoroughly documenting & following up on the progress of permitting
• Provides information to Developers, Contractors, Municipalities, Clients, HOA’s & Health Department on Building Issues, property information, procedures.
• Assist with Administrative tasks, such as, answering phones, meeting clients, Typing correspondence. Excel Reports, Scanning, electronically filing & record retention.
• Coordinates + assist in the processing & issuance of Building Permit Fees and applications.
• Collaborates with customers and inspectors to schedule inspections, document construction and project status, and issue the appropriate documentation with compliance to established building codes and regulations.
• Performs both routine and non-routine administrative duties, as dictated by the nature of the task, e.g., data entry, records maintenance, filing, basic calculations, generate reports.
• Updates and maintains contractor registration files for current state and local licensing and insurance requirement

Additional Information:

• Work schedule will be Monday through Friday, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm. Special projects may occasionally require additional work time
• This position will work out of our Cape Coral office

Pay: Up to $57,500.00 per year
