About The Roles

• Range of shift options available.
• Support residents to lead engaging and fulfilling lives.
• Follow care plans that enable residents in their health and wellbeing.
• Work collaboratively with the Rehabilitation Team to support residents to achieve lifestyle goals and community connections.

About You

The ideal person for our team is interested in supporting people and has good communication skills. Other skills and experience that are highly preferred are:

• Caregiving experience (2+ years preferable)
• New Zealand Certificate in Health and Wellbeing any level
• Existing Work Visa with 2 New Zealand work referees
• Current First Aid Qualification
• Experience supporting people living with conditions like Huntington’s disease, Multiple Sclerosis, Motor Neurone Disease, Cerebral Palsy, Stroke, and people living with traumatic brain injuries.

St John of God Halswell supports people living with disability to lead engaging and fulfilling lives. Our 60-room residential care facility is situated in attractive grounds with award-winning gardens. The facility has an onsite gym and Rehabilitation and Therapy team, who support residents living in our care.
